About
Company

Founded in 1999, Isocentric Networks is a privately-held provider of internet hosting solutions with corporate headquarters located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  We offer unsurpassed reliability, redundancy, security, and support with connectivity to multiple Tier 1 Internet backbone providers.

Facility

Isocentric Networks' world-class data center was custom designed and engineered to provide one of the most advanced, reliable, and secure hosting environments available today. The Isocentric Data Center (IDC) is strategically located in the ONEOK Plaza building, a class A carrier-grade facility, in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma. The IDC shares many of the life support safety systems installed in the ONEOK Plaza including 24-hour guard service with roving patrols as well as sophisticated, fault-tolerant security, power, and fire-protection systems. The IDC meets or exceeds all industry standards for enterprise-level system support.

The Isocentric Data Center (IDC) uses Liebert chilled water HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) equipment in an N+1 redundant configuration, ensuring that a duplicate system can immediately come online in the event of an HVAC system failure. Additional Liebert units are pre-staged in the facility for rapid expansion to accommodate increases in server density. The Liebert systems provide tight control of both temperature and humidity in the IDC.

Power

The Isocentric Data Center (IDC) has a dedicated 480 Volt feed directly off of the main power bus. Using distributed power system architecture with Liebert Precision Power Distribution equipment, the IDC establishes a single point ground thereby minimizing common mode disturbances.

Isocentric Networks also utilizes a two tier distrbuted UPS architecture.  The primary tier is composed of a Liebert Facility wide AC UPS.  Our second tier utilizes rack based UPS systems for all critical servers and network equipment.

Security

The Isocentric Data Center (IDC) shares many security features present in the ONEOK Plaza building. These systems include an extensive video surveillance and monitoring system, along with a centralized security system with RF proximity ID systems for access control. All exterior doors and elevators are time-of-day access restricted and require a valid RF ID proximity card key for entry outside of normal business hours. Access to the 2nd and 3rd basement levels is further restricted with 24-hour card key requirements and a separate shuttle elevator isolated from the building’s primary elevator lobbies. The building also maintains a full-time guard service with roaming patrols.

Network

The Isocentric Data Center (IDC) supplies direct connectivity to multiple Tier 1 backbone providers. Select internet providers were strategically chosen to optimize the IDC’s network reliability and performance. For example, Verizon Business owns and operates one of the most expansive IP backbone networks in the world. Level(3) consistently outperforms competitors providing “best-in-class” on-net latency. The selection of these two providers gives users of the IDC access to the best of both worlds.
