Basic Monitoring – Availability

Basic monitoring is available for customers of Oikos Networks, Inc. as a part of one of our Web Services agreements at no additional charge. The server or service that is to be monitored must be either publically available to the Internet, or hosted in a Oikos data center for our monitoring server to properly reach it.

Basic Monitoring – Limitations

Basic monitoring is limited to externally available services only. Oikos provides up to 3 basic monitoring checks per server that meets the availability requirements. This includes the ability to check:

  • Ping
  • HTTP/HTTPS
  • RDP
  • Any Generic TCP Port Check
